Global Studies Working Group

Professor Adrian Bailey is the Convener of the Global Studies Working Group (GSWG). Professor Bailey is the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and has experience in migration and global studies with cross-cultural research in North and Central America, Europe, Southern Africa, and Asia. He focuses on scalar politics of language, life-course theory and migrant precarity.

The GSWG is responsible for exploring the research/teaching/engagement nexus and for supporting research-led innovative teaching programs at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The group also aims to enhance east-west research in line with other LEWI working groups. Sub-themes under the Global Studies Working Group are:
