The LEWI Visiting Fellowship Programme invites overseas scholars at various stages in their careers to conduct collaborative research at LEWI and utilise the resources and services LEWI has to offer. LEWI Visiting Fellows are expected to actively engage with LEWI staff and fellows. They are also expected to participate in events organized by LEWI.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
We accept applications all year round. Application should include an application form, a 2-3 page description of the research project, proposed stay in Hong Kong, and an up-to-date curriculum vitae.
SELECTION PRINCIPLES
- The academic track record of the applicant.
- The quality of the research proposal.
- Thematic relevance to East-West studies.
PLEASE NOTE
- LEWI Visiting Fellowships are open to applicants who wish to work with LEWI staff in collaborative research.
- LEWI Visiting Fellows are expected to produce at least one piece of output (e.g., journal articles) during their stay.
- LEWI Visiting Fellows are expected to present their research work in the LEWI Seminar Series.
- The length of the visiting fellowship varies according to the research plans of the scholars concerned. The fellowship must be a minimum of one month and a maximum of six months.
- Office space for LEWI Visiting Fellows is subject to availability.
