Dr SCICLUNA joined the Government and International Studies Department of HKBU in August 2021. Prior to that, she was a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Hong Kong (2017-2021), a Lecturer in Politics and International Studies at the University of Birmingham (2015-2016) and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Social Sciences at Collegio Carlo Alberto, Turin (2013-2014). Her research and teaching interests include European and EU politics and law, and the relationship between international law and international politics. Dr SCICLUNA is the author of two books: The Politics of International Law (OUP, 2021) and European Union Constitutionalism in Crisis (Routledge, 2015). Her work has also been published in the Journal of European Public Policy, the Journal of Common Market Studies, the International Journal of Constitutional Law, West European Politics and the European Law Journal. Dr SCICLUNA received her PhD in International Relations in 2013 from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
