Mr Md. Naimur RAHMAN
PhD Candidate

Mr. Md. Naimur Rahman is a PhD student in Geography at Hong Kong Baptist University and a Research Fellow in Development Studies at Daffodil International University. His research focuses on sand mining in Bangladesh through political ecology, environmental justice, geospatial analysis, deep learning, and IoT-enabled monitoring. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geography and Environmental Science from Begum Rokeya University, Bangladesh, and previously served as a Lecturer cum Research Associate at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. His work contributes to sustainable resource management and environmental justice in the Global South.
